Worship Ministries

Acolytes are middle and high school youth who assist in services by carrying the crosses and torches, and by helping the clergy in the service. To learn more or volunteer, please contact Bill Webb, Acolyte Master or Rev. Connie Connelly.​ The Altar Guild cares for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services and clean up afterwards. To learn more or volunteer, please contact Lori Taylor, Altar Guild Chair.​ Intercessors read the intercessory prayers in the service. To learn more or volunteer, please contact Rev. Connie Connelly or Joe Jernigan, parish administrator. Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist clergy by delivering Holy Eucharist elements to communicants. To learn more or volunteer, please contact Rev. Connie Connelly or Joe Jernigan, parish administrator. Lay Eucharistic Visitors are licensed by our bishop to deliver Holy Eucharist to parishioners who are hospitalized or homebound. Lay Eucharistic Visitors may also act as chalice bearers during our regular Sunday services.​​ To learn more or volunteer, please contact Rev. Connie Connelly or Joe Jernigan, parish administrator. Lectors assist in services by reading the Lesson(s) appointed for the day. To learn more or volunteer, please contact Joe Jernigan, parish administrator. Ushers arrive at church about 30 minutes before a service to greet parishioners, pass out bulletins, receive offerings, guide parishioners to Holy Communion, and tidy the pews after the service.​ To learn more or volunteer, please contact Joe Jernigan, parish administrator.

Service Ministries

​​Episcopal Church Women is open to all women of the parish who dedicate themselves to serving God through fellowship and mission. To learn more or to volunteer, please contact Kit Reddick, ECW President. Outreach is comprised of several primary projects. To learn more, please visit our outreach page or contact Kit Reddick, Outreach Chair ​Parish Life is responsible for popular events that allow us to get to know one another. Committee members and volunteers assist with equipment pick-up/return, preparation of food, event set-up/clean-up for the Rally Day Parish Dinner, Green Acres Parish Picnic, Receptions, Twelfth Night Party, Parish Cookout and other social events. To learn more or to volunteer, please contact John Price, Parish Life Chair. The Vestry is the lay leadership of the parish. Twelve parishioners elected by the congregation who serve with the Rector to make business decisions for the parish. To learn more or to express interest in serving, please contact the Rev.
